Iran’s ambassador meets Iraqi president

TEHRAN, July 27 (MNA) – Iran’s Ambassador to Iraq, Kazemi Qomi, met on Friday with Iraqi President Jalal Talabani, Buratha news agency reported.

Qomi and Talabani discussed the situation in Iraq and issues interested by the two countries, the news agency said.

 

According to Kurdish sources, Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Barham Salih was present at the meeting.

 

Iraqi president also held talks with the British and U.S. ambassadors to Baghdad on Friday.
