NPC attracts €600m for petrochemical projects, Nejabat says

TEHRAN, July 25 (MNA) – The Managing director of Iran’s National Petrochemical Company (NPC) announced here the company has attracted €600m within the recent three months for implementation of petrochemical projects.

Talking to MNA, Gholam-Hossein Nejabat added neither one of the projects intended for the Fourth Five-Year Development Plan (2005-2010) has been delayed due to financial deficit.

 

Executive operations of seven projects which had been planned for the Fifth Five-Year Development Plan are currently underway. Moreover, some of the plans have progressed by 10 percent.

 

Nejabat declined to comment on the sources of the 600-million-euro financial credit.

 

NPC accounts for 24 percent of the Middle East’s petrochemical output ranking the second in this respect. The company stands 56th among the top 100 companies of the world.
