TEHRAN, July 23 (MNA) – Transactions in three fields of metals and minerals, agriculture, and oil and petrochemicals in the first four months of current Iranian year (started March 20), was 3.768 million tons valued at 31.647 trillion rials (some $3.454 billion) which shows a 107 percent growth in terms of weight and a 97 percent rise in terms of value.

Moj News Agency quoted Ali-Akbar Hashemian, the head of Iran Mercantile Exchange, saying that outputs of metals and minerals, oil and petrochemical, and agriculture accounted for 82.44, 16.88, and 0.88 percent respectively of the whole transactions figure.
