TEHRAN, July 19 (MNA) -- Iran has taken first place in the 13th International Mathematical and Chemistry Olympiads, which was held at Tehran’s Shahid Beheshti University on Friday.

In the 13th International Mathematical Olympiad, Naser Talebzadeh-Samadi, Ali Khezli, and Ali-Akbar Daemi all from Sharif University of Technology, and Panton Leontief won gold and Mostafa Einollah-zadeh snatched silver medal.

 

In this scientific competition, Ukraine, Indonesia and Armenia ranked second to forth respectively.    

In the 13th International Chemistry Olympiad, Mohammad-Hossein Mahmudi, Arash Bohluli, and Hadi Gholami, Akram Khodabandehlu and Yunes Valad-Beigi ranked the first to fifth respectively.
