Doping ban for Iranian powerlifters

TEHRAN, July 14 (MNA)-- Four Iranian powerlifters have been banned each for 2 years due to doping by Iran’s Anti-Doping Agency on Monday.

The lifters were expelled from the national team’s camp by Iran’s Bodybuilding Federation two weeks ago after their “A” samples were tested positive.

According to Iran’s Anti-Doping Agency, Morteza Oveisi, Ferydoon Burani, Reza Rezaei and Mani Maddahi have been banned each for two years.
