TEHRAN, July 8 (MNA) -- Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Mohammad-Reza Baqeri has announced that Iran is ready to negotiate with the Arab states.

In interview with Asharq Al-Awsat posted on its website on Tuesday, he said the U.S. is taking “satanic steps” to damage relations between Iran and the Arabs.

“We stress there is no dissention between Iran and the Arabs and Iran is ready to negotiate with Arab nations under the Arab League’s supervision,” Baqeri emphasized.

Deputy foreign minister criticized Arabs’ silence on Israel’s atrocities, saying “no one talks of this regime’s occupation of Palestine and slaughtering its people.”

He also said Iran supports Iraq’s security, stability and integrity.
