TEHRAN, July 4 (MNA) – An economic delegation, comprising of 24 managers of the Khorassan Razavi Province’s private and state-run companies arrived at Urumqi capital of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, a province in northwest of China.

The delegation which is chaired by Reza Abdolmaleki, the deputy governor general of the province, will review the expansion of the provinces’ trade and economic ties.


On the sidelines, a conference introducing Khorassan Razavi Province’s potentials and capacities was held in Urumqi.


The trade volume between Khorassan Razavi Province and Xinjiang stands at $1.5 billion while Iran and China saw a $20 billion worth of trade volume in 2007 which is predicted to touch $25 billion by the end of 2008.
