Ghotbi takes charge of Persepolis

TEHRAN, July 4 (MNA)--Afshin Ghotbi was appointed as Persepolis coach on Thursday, according to the club’s officials.

Following a meeting held in Dubai, Ghotbi signed a two-year contract with the Tehran-based club for an undisclosed fee.

Ghotbi’s first assistant will be a Brazilian who worked with him in the South Korean team he was with before. Afshin Peyrovani will also assist Ghotbi as number two.

Ghotbi ended Persepolis’ title drought after six years last season.
