Reihani to perform pantomime on Mount Damavand

TEHRAN, July 2 (MNA) -- Bahram Reihani plans to perform a 12-minute pantomime on the summit of Mount Damavand on August 3.

Reihani’s performance, accompanied by the professional climber Davud Shamimi, will be recorded for later telecast, the Persian service of ISNA reported on Wednesday.

Reihani’s main goal is to commemorate Damavand, as one aspect of Iran’s rich natural heritage. “This pantomime bears the motto ‘Peace and Friendship’ for the world, and aims to wish honor and show solidarity for Iran’s theatrical family,” he added.

He will also be giving a pantomime performance “I Am Damavand” at the Bahman Cultural Center on July 3.

Reihani has previously performed the world’s longest pantomime, symbolically connecting the two Iranian cities of Tehran and Isfahan.
