Hurray El Matadors

Spaniards brought an end to the 44-year title drought with a Euro win on Sunday night and people are unanimous in their beliefs they deservedly won the prestigious event.

Germans, confident of their football supremacy, were obliterated by the talented Spaniards who had not touched a big trophy for 44 years. Spain won the European Championship in 1964 and it’s while Germany, as the most successful teams in Euro tournaments, have won the title three times in 1972, 1980, and 1996.

“This triumph is for all the players because they have always had faith. That is why they have had the tournament they have had. We have an extraordinarily good team. There is no doubt about that. When we play, there is no team that can stand up to us,”said Luis Aragonés after winning the championship.

Despite the fact that the Germans are such experienced players, undoubtedly well-motivated Spanish players were a better team in the final, which means sometimes feeling works much better than logic.

Real Madrid, as the world’s richest football club in terms of income, have crowned the Champions League nine times and the Spaniards can be proud of their national team, hereafter.

Hopefully, the teams like Spain gain more success in the international events because they are born to play such as Brazilians and Argentineans.

Sometimes, football needs Flamingo Music instead of mathematics.
