Cargo Handling quadrupled at W Hormozgan ports in last 7 months

TEHRAN, Nov. 18 (MNA) – A local official of ports and maritime organization of Iran told the media that the container terminal operation has quadrupled in the western ports of Iranian Hormozgan Province.

Mahmoud Saberi, the Head of Lengeh branch of Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran broke the news on Saturday.

“Expanding the lands of the port and thriving transit of goods promises a good season of employment for the youth in Bandar Lengeh port city,” said the local official.

Mr. Saberi contributed the four-fold rise, over the last seven months, in container terminal operation and cargo handling at western ports in Iranian southern province of Hormozgan which borders with both the Persian Gulf and the Oman Sea, to implementation of the new plan of maritime and port development.
