Senegal's Pres. receives credentials of Iran's amb.

TEHRAN, Apr. 02 (MNA) – Iran's new Ambassador to Senegal Einollah Qashghavi submitted his copy of credentials to Senegal's President Macky Sall, on Friday.

Qashghavi conveyed Iranian president's greetings and best wishes to Mr. Macky Sall and congratulated the official on the occasion of the Republic of Senegal's National Day, which is celebrated on April 3.

He announced the Islamic Republic of Iran's readiness to expand all-out relations with its friendly Muslim country of Senegal.

During his meeting with President Sall, Qashghavi also presented President Hassan Rouhani's invitation letter to Macky Sall for an official visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Senegalese president also underlined the importance of the Islamic Republic of Iran and its capabilities, and expressed Senegalese government's willing to expand cooperation in all fields.

Calling for Iran's support for Senegal's economic plans, Macky Sall expressed hope to visit Iran in the near future.
