Iranian films in Macedonia

TEHRAN, Nov. 19 (MNA) – The 2015 Festival of European Film CineDays, annually held in Skopje, has dedicated a section to Iran in which a number of Iranian films are screened.

The festival, to wrap up on November 21 under the theme: Hotel CineDays, is offering more than 100 films divided into several programs, including the Official Selection, CineBalkan, Gala Premieres, Music Documentaries, Latvian and Macedonian short films and an additional program of workshops, concerts and debates. This year the festival has India and Iran as Countries In Focus.

Several Iranian films including The Exclusive Path and Ice Era, directed by Mostafa Kiaei, Alzheimer, directed by Ahmad Reza Motamedi, The Corridor, by Behrouz Shoaibi, The Private Life of Mr. and Mrs. M, by Ruhollah Hejazi, Agha Yousef by Ali Rafiei have been screened in the event so far.

Moreover Apparition by Dariush Mehrjui and For the Sake of Pooneh by Hatef Alimardani are planned to be screened.
