US, Zionist spies sentenced to 10 yrs. in jail

TEHRAN, Aug. 30 (MNA) – The Judiciary spokesman has told reporters two US and Israeli spies have been sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei attended his 84th press conference on Sunday where he congratulated National Week of the Government; he announced ‘full preparation’ to cooperate with the government in line with demands made by Leader of the Islamic Republic in his recent remarks when he received Mr. Rouhani and his cabinet, in realization of the objectives of Resistance Economic policies. “The Judiciary welcomes and voices full preparation to improve security of domestic investment and fighting corruption in economic and other fields in attempt to facilitate access to bank and financial resources,” he told reporters.

Mohseni Ejei also commented on the important court trials in the past two weeks which had been underway in the Judiciary; “two defendants which had been charged with spying for US and Israel had been tried and sentenced to 10 years behind the bars; the verdict of one of the convicts of 2009 post-election street unrest had been given as absentee; it was speculated that he would leave the country; however, the intelligence system found and arrested him, and his case is being heard in the court,” he detailed.
