Mazandaran ready for trade, health tourism

TEHRAN, Aug. 21 (MNA) – A delegation from Mangystau Kazakhstan has traveled to Mazandaran with the aim of boosting trade exchanges as well as developing the economic cooperation and health tourism.

Kazakh delegation started its journey on Tuesday evening and it reviewed the possible ways of developing the relations during the joint meeting with Mazamdaran governor, the executive directors along with the activists of economic arena as its first program.

The Journey followed the visit made by Mazandaran governor to Mangystau as well as the Iranian specialized exhibition held earlier this month in Kazakhstan.

This visit has been made in reply to our earlier visit said Abdollah Mohajer, the Head of Mazandaran’s Chamber of Commerce, Mining, Trade and Agriculture in the joint meeting of activists of economic arena with Kazakh delegation held in the provincial governor.

Stressing that Kazakh delegation has travelled to Mazandaran in four groups of oil, agriculture, economy and tourism he added that the mutual cooperation has been promoted in all above-mentioned fields.

The visit by the trade delegation to Amirabad port in addition to the various sections of the fishery, Scott food industry and Moallem broiler are of the programs said Head of Agricultural Jihad Organization in Mazandaran.

Delavarpoor reiterated that Mazandaran agriculture has great potential especially in poultry and one-day chick as well as the related equipment and is ready to cooperate with Mangystau in this regard.

Highlighting the province's ability to produce and import chickens according to the need of Kazakhstan, he added that Mazandaran currently produces over 200,000 tons of broilers.

In Regard to fruit production, over 2 million tons of citrus and 160 tons of kiwi is produced in Mazandaran, said Heidarpour adding that Mazandaran citrus and kiwi can attract the attention of the entrepreneurs in this country.   

Head of Agricultural Jihad Organization in Mazandaran also said that plants and ornamental shrubs is another important and commercial productions in Mazandaran on which the two sides can sign an agreement.

Considering Mazandaran's experiences on pressurized irrigation techniques he announced that Iran could provide all the related equipments needed by Kazakhstan. He further announced the preparedness to exchange agricultural and research experiences and mutual cooperation in agriculture section.

The head of Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences also said that Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences’ international department accepts foreign students in medicine and dentistry.

He added that 40 hospitals in Mazandaran were ready to accept foreign patients pointing that the outpatient treatment is provided in Mazandaran hospitals.

Qasem Babajani said that the four hospitals are able to provide the foreign patients with the open heart surgery along with angiography and the patients who suffer from cancer with possible tumor surgery, radiotherapy and radiography.

Speaking about the capacity of Medical Science in the field of neurosurgery, ophthalmology, pediatrics, he said that "in the outpatient treatment, we are able to provide clinical services in Mangystau."
