‘Largest ice cream producing unit’ inaugurated

TEHRAN, Aug. 12 (MNA) – Minister of Industry, Mine and Commerce has inaugurated first phase of development plan of the largest dairy and ice cream unit of the country.

On Thursday, Mohammadreza Nematzadeh visited the development schemes of Mihan Co. such as Panda ice cream producing unit and Dairy Town to inaugurate the 1st phase along with his visit to Islamshahr in southwest of Tehran.  

Ayoub Paidari, Managing Director, Abolfazl Paidari, his deputy and Ali Paidari, a member of the Board of Directors of Mihan Co., welcomed Nematzadeh in his visit and presented a report of the history, capabilities, facilities and development schemes of the company.

Nematzadeh welcomed activities of Mihan Co., and emphasized on the support of the domestic producers and called on the directors of Mihan Co. to lend special focus on the exports having completed the development plans and improving of the production capacity. Currently, 10,500 people work in Mihan Group who are working for manufacturing and distribution centers.

The products of the company are supplied and distributed to the consumers across the country through 60 distribution centers. In addition to domestic market, Mihan Co., exports its products to Iraq, Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan.
