Majority of Iranians support JCPOA

TEHRAN, Aug. 04 (MNA) – According to authentic opinion polls, majority of Iranians support the JCPOA, Iranian deputy FM said on Monday.

The Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs and top nuclear negotiator Seyed Abbas Araghchi made the remarks addressing country's university researchers and media analysts on Monday.

During the meeting, Araghchi provided some details on successful conclusion of the nuclear negotiations with six world states and details of the JCPOA.

He answered questions on UN nuclear watchdog's post-agreement inspections, the Arak heavy water reactor, and the authorized source that will survey Iran-5+1 likely complaints about improper implementation of the JCPOA, and also informed the students and journalists about the Iranians' positive public opinion about the agreement.

While not reciting the exact statistics of the opinion polls, Araghchi said, most majority of Iranians both support Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and are pleased with it.
