Bishkek calls for better ties with Tehran

TEHRAN, Aug. 02 (MNA) – In a message to Iranian nation and president, Kyrgyz President Atambayev expressed hope to expand ties with Iran.

Iran’s embassy to Bishkek, on Sunday, released the message of Kyrgyzstan's President Almazbek Atambayev addressing Iranian nation and President Hassan Rouhani.

In the message Atambayev voiced confidence that the historically-tied nations of Iran and Kyrgyzstan will bolster cooperation in fields of bilateral interests.

Also in the message, he announced readiness of both Kyrgyz government and nation to continue and enhance the current status of partnership.

Calling the nuclear agreement of July 14 a historical achievement for Iran, the Kyrgyz president felicitated his Iranian counterpart adding that the pact would lead to more economic growth of Iran and more peace for the region and the whole world.
