'1-0' to vie at Subway Filmfest in Seoul, Berlin

TEHRAN, Aug. 01 (MNA) – Iran's One-Nil (1-0) will take part at the 6th Seoul Metro International Subway Film Festival in Seoul Metro and 13th International Subway Film Festival in the Berlin Subway.

The festivals which are known for admitting extreme short films, have accepted 20 out of 988 films including two Iranian films, One-Nil by Saman Hosseinpour and Evolution by Mohammad Ali Beigi.

The movies will be showcased in competition section of the festivals to compete with 18 films from Switzerland, South Korea, Germany, Argentina, USA, Australia, Ukraine, Spain, Finland and UK.

The festivals will kick off on September 7 and will wrap up on September 22, after selection of winners.

Produced by the provincial arts bureau, the one-minute One-nil has so far participated in over 62 international and domestic film festivals winning many awards. It narrates the story of a boy who gets so excited watching Iran-South Korea soccer game and forgets he is in the middle of a haircut.
