Tunisia to screen Iranian short films

TEHRAN, Jan. 31 (MNA) – On the occasion of 36th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, Tunisian Ministry of Culture has granted screening license to 31 Iranian short films.

According to Iran’s cultural attaché in Tunisia Sadegh Ramezani, the films have been submitted to Iran and Tunisia Joint Cinema Society established in May 2014 between the Tunisia Friendship Association and the Iranian Youth Cinema Society.

“The films will be screened on February 4 and run for a whole week in three different cities in Tunisia,” said Ramezani.

He also noted that during the meeting with President of National Cinema of Tunisia Adnan Khedher, he had stressed the necessity of using the high potential of Iran’s cinema in his country, deeming it a framework for boosting bilateral ties in the fields of culture and arts.
