Cabrisas who is also the chairman of the Iran-Cuba Joint Economic Commission welcomed the expansion of relations between the two countries particularly in the areas such as the commerce, waterworks and transportation sectors and referred to the joint commission as an opportune and important chance for exchanging views and paving the grounds for the implementation of joint venture projects as well as signing banking agreements.
The Cuban minister also asserted that signing new trade and bank agreements between Tehran and Havana would pave the way for further joint economic cooperation between the two countries.
Iran's Minister of Agricultural Jihad Mahmud Hojjati will lead the Iranian delegation and is going to leave for Havana in mid January 2005, to attend the joint commission, Iranian Students’ News Agency (ISNA) reported.
The Iranian delegation will comprise officials and representatives from the Iranian organizations including, the Export Development Bank of Iran (EDBI), Sanir Company, Commerce Ministry, Iran’s Chamber of Commerce, and BIDCO Company.
