TEHRAN, Dec. 11 (MNA) – Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization (CAO) announced Saturday that both private and sate-run airlines would soon increase their number of flights to disadvantaged areas of country, an official in the organization noted.

Reza Ja’farzadeh added that, all airlines have agreed to take efficient strategies to upgrade the quality of flight services available in the remote parts of the country.

“The companies have done their best to increase their medium and low-capacity air fleets to fulfill the objective”, he said.

The domestic airlines such as Aseman, Mahan, Kish Air and Caspian have tried to meet local needs but Safiran Airlines, in a new effort, has employed two domestically made airplanes “Iran 140” that have two return flights to Gorgan everyday.

He concluded that Safiran Airlines has promised to set up more flights from Tehran to Shahrud and Sabzevar soon.
