The officials discussed the overall World Bank lending program to help implement some development and urban renewal projects in Pakistan, the most important of which was the issue of laying gas pipeline from Iran to that country, Paknews site reported.
According to the report, the prime minister said that Pakistan would require World Bank (WB) support to build up infrastructure for import of electricity from Tajikistan and laying gas pipeline from Qatar and Iran.
The WB country director assured the prime minister of the bank’s support for these sectors.
