According to the report, these projects will generate 31,411 job opportunities benefiting thousands of rural and tribal families in the fields of agriculture, horticulture, water and soil management, stockbreeding and poultry breeding, forestry, watershed management, veterinary medicine, fishery, research and training, extension of agriculture, and rural and tribal development.
Public Relation officer of National Iranian Fisheries Organization, Mahdi Shirazi announced that 803 fisheries projects would be inaugurated during Government Week, costing about Rls.217b.
Fisheries projects aim to produce fish protein, optimize use of water resources, realize sustainable development in aquaculture, and generate job opportunities in the country.
The official stressed that fisheries industry plays an important role in economic development and is a tool for preventing immigration from villages to big cities.
