Saket said that he will perform Western classical music and Iranian national music in Italy, Germany, and Scandinavia in the winter, accompanied by pianist Behnam Abul-Qasem and violinist Navid Mostafapur.
“For these concerts, I have composed eight new pieces that I will perform in the 20-piece repertoire. These pieces will be in Abu Ata, Dashti, Shur, Chahargah, and Mahur, which is called dastgah in Iranian music,” Saket added.
Dastgah uses traditional melody patterns that are based on a modal scale-based system.
Saket will also be performing Western classical pieces composed by Johann Sebastian Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Johannes Brahms.
“I have also given concerts in the cities of Tehran, Varamin, Karaj, Borujerd, and Lahijan since the beginning of this year. From now until late September, I will give concerts in the cities of Neishabur, Kerman, and Kermanshah”.
Saket’s album “East of Pain 2” will be released soon and his book “Nilufari Fortune” will also be published in the near future.
