TEHRAN, Agu 7, (MNA) –- An Israeli group held a demonstration in Tel Aviv calling for attempts to establish a Middle East free from nuclear, chemical and biological weapons, a United Arab Emirates newspaper reported on Saturday.

The demonstrators also called for the nuclear disarmament of the Zionist regime.

According to Dar al Khaleej, the demonstrators moved from the Zionist regime’s war ministry headquarters toward the Japanese and U.S. embassies in commemoration of those who were killed in the U.S. atomic attack on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

The demonstrators announced that Israel is like gunpowder full of weapons of mass destruction.

The demonstrators stressed in a statement that WMD do not guarantee security but instead create chaos in the region.

The statement added that Israel was the initiator of the nuclear arms race in the Middle East and should also take the first step to free the Israelis and the region from weapons of mass destruction.

The group called on the Zionist regime to sign the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), permit the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to inspect the Dimona nuclear power plant and cooperate with the UN body in order to establish a WMD-free Middle East zone.
