TEHRAN, June 21 (MNA) -– The satire play "Sizdah" (Thirteen) written and directed by Banafsheh Tavana’i will go on stage June 23 in Sangelanj Hall in Tehran.

"Sizdah" is a satirical look at the relationship between the Qajar King Naser ad-din Shah and his mother Mahd Olia.

 

Mahshad Mokhberi, Soheila Salehi, Forugh Qajabegli, Alireza Mohammadi, Bahar Azanderian, Somayeh Borhi, Farzaneh Sokuti, Sudeh Sharhi and Ellaheh Sha’bani are the featured actors in "Sizdah."

 

According to the advance publicity materials, "Sizdah" last year won the director's prize at the "12th Festival of Traditional Plays" and three of its actors were also awarded.
