An indigenous tactical troposcatter communications system and a domestically designed smart monitoring system, named the Rased 32 (Observer 32), which have been developed by the experts at the air defense base, were unveiled during the ceremony.
A troposcatter communications system employs the method of transmitting and receiving microwave radio signals over considerable distances.
The Rased 32 system enables lookouts to accurately transmit data about flying object approaching the country to the control centers of the air defense base across the country.
During the ceremony, the commander of the Khatam-ol-Anbiya Air Defense Base said that Iran was among the top ten countries which had the capability to design and manufacture air defense systems.
Brigadier General Farzad Esmaeili also said that the sanctions imposed on Iran had created an opportunity for the progress of the country’s defense industries.
