Dr. Mahmood Mohammadzade Shabestari appreciated making the artificial heart machine as one of the great achievements of Iranian researchers.
“Building of the artificial heart started by researchers of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, last year,” he added.
He predicted that artificial heart machine would be completed within the next two years. Stating that 9 new drugs are currently under construction at the Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, Shabestari added: “These drugs often used to treat cancer, and are now imported from overseas.”
“The first nano anti-cancer drug, called Sinadoxosome was designed and developed for the first time in the Middle East By researchers at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences last year, and it is currently produced in commercial scale,” added he.
