QOM, Nov. 14 (MNA) – Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki met with Grand Ayatollah Hossein Nouri Hamedani in Qom on Tuesday.

Maliki said that the plots hatched by Iraq’s enemies with the aim of sowing ethnic discord in the country have been foiled so far.

He also called for the expansion of ties between Tehran and Baghdad.

Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani called Iraq a friendly country and hailed the efforts to enhance security in the Arab country.
