'Anyone involved in $2.6b fraud is not safe from punishment'

TEHRAN, May 29 (MNA) – Iranian First Deputy Judiciary Chief Ebrahim Raeisi said on Tuesday that anyone who is involved in the $2.6 billion financial fraud case will be brought to justice, no matter what his position is.

According to reports, a number of defendants in the huge fraud case had had links with certain officials at government organizations.

So far, 12 court sessions in the trial of the defendants accused of involvement in the fraud case have been held in Tehran.
