During the meeting the Tajik and Armenian ambassadors called for expansion of industrial and mineral ties with Iran, the Mehr News Agency reported.
According to Arakelian, the trade value between Tehran and Yerevan currently stands at $270 million.
During the meeting Mehrabian also declared Iran’s readiness to export technology to the neighboring countries.
Iran's Economic Attaché in Dushanbe Abbas Bayani recently stated that the trade exchanges between Iran and Tajikistan amounted to 202 million last year, showing a considerable increase compared with 2009, Asia-Plus reported.
The Iranian diplomat said that the trade exchanges between the two countries showed a 30% growth during the first six months of 2010 compared with the same period in 2009.He stressed that both Tehran and Dushanbe enjoy abundant potentials for increasing the level of their mutual economic relations.
Bayani also mentioned that commodities like cotton, aluminum, nuts and fruits constitute Dushanbe's exports to Iran, while the latter exports foodstuff, construction materials, chemical products and technical and engineering services to Tajikistan.
