The center’s headquarters, in the Islamic Republic of Iran, will conduct studies regarding various women’s affairs, including social and cultural issues.
According to a news report from the Ministry of Economics and Finance, the aim of the center will be to promote relations among Farsi-speaking women in Iran, Tajikistan, and Afghanistan through the exchange of opinions, and research reports between these countries.
The report said maintaining foreign resources has to be approved in the Iranian cabinet so the ministry submitted the written authorization to the government beforehand.
A similar center has already been set up among Arab women with Tunisia as its headquarters, the report said.
