TEHRAN, Aug. 20 (MNA) -- 311,000 tons of non-oil products have been exported to Iraq through Shalamcheh border point in the first four months of the Iranian calendar year (starting March 21).

The Supervisor of the Customs’ Administration Office of the southwestern Iranian province of Khuzestan stated this, while adding the value of this amount of products is $165 million.

 Abbas Alidadi  went on to say that in comparison to the same period the year before the products were 153 percent more in weight and 422 more in value.

 The exported items mostly consisted of construction material, iron, cement, household and industrial appliances, motorcycles, wood and ceramics.
