(MNA), Aug. 14 -- Iran freestyle wrestling team won the 27th World Military Wrestling Championship on late Friday.

In the competition held in Lahti, Finland the Iranian wrestling outfit won five gold and two bronze medals and claimed the title with 66 points.

Belarus finished in second place with 48 points and Poland came third bagging 47 points.
 
The CISM World Military Championships is considered a highly competitive event with numerous past World and Olympic medalists competing in each style.
