TEHRAN, June 13 (MNA) -- The 2010 edition of “Prix de la Photographie, Paris” (Px3) selected several Iranian photographers as winners.

After participating in the non-professional category of the competition, the winners were awarded in the different sections.

Mehdi Arastuii took the first place award in the Portrait-Culture section of the non-professional category. In the Fine Art-Abstract section, Mir-Kian Roshan-Nia was selected as second place winner. And Ali Rahimi took the second place in the nature section.

Reza Milani and Fereshteh Yahyaii also received honorable mention.

American Howard Schatz was chosen Photographer of Year, and Stefano Orazzini was selected as Best New Talent.

Works by the winners of the 2010 competition will be exhibited at Espace Dupon, in Paris in July 2010.

The “Prix de la Photographie, Paris” (Px3) strives to promote the appreciation of photography, to discover emerging talent, and to introduce photographers from around the world to the artistic community of Paris.
