TEHRAN Dec. 24 (Mehr News Agency) – Energy Commission of the Majlis agreed to allocate Rls.4,000 billion (about $480 million) for the import of gasoline to meet domestic needs.

A member of Energy Commission of the Majlis, Ne’matollah Ali-Rezaie said here Wednesday that the Majlis ratified the bill on Thursday to help the government overcome domestic shortage of gasoline, which could lead to national crisis.

 

The credit is to come from oil export revenue, Ali-Rezaie added.

 

Oil Ministry is also committed to provide fuel smart cards all across the country, in order to lessen high consumption of fuel in Iran.
