TEHRAN, Dec. 12 (MNA) – Iranian Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani and his Egyptian counterpart Ahmed Sorour in a telephone conversation on Friday agreed to review the current disastrous conditions of people in the Gaza Strip in a meeting of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly’s troika on Gaza.

Iran, Indonesia and Syria are members of the troika.

 

Larijani asked the Islamic states especially Egypt to help alleviate the miseries of Palestinian nation.

 

The Asian Parliamentary Assembly is ready to cooperate with Egypt in sending medicine and food through Egypt to the Gaza Strip.

 

Larijani also expressed his gratitude to the Egyptian administration for its efforts in to resolve the problems in Gaza.

 

Sorour, for his part, stated that his country is ready to cooperate with the APA in helping the Palestinians.
