TEHRAN (Mehr News Agency) –"More than 10 billion barrels of the Caspian's crude belong to Iran which we will start to exploit by 2005,” said Director of the Caspian Oil Company Seyed Mohammad Hossein Dana on Monday.

"It is not still clear how many barrels we will exploit per day," Dana added.

Referring to the quality of the Caspian Sea oil, Dana added that according to the studies, the region's crude oil is of high quality, but only after the exploitation everything will be clear.

"The Caspian Sea littoral states have so far exploited different amounts of the oil from the sea. We must also use our share,” the Caspian Oil Company director further explained.
