The Iranian team secured a narrow 10-9 victory over its Chinese rival. It is for the first time that an Iranian team wins the Asian clubs championship.
Iran Tose’e Karaj had already defeated the team 14-10 in the preliminary round.
Azad University Abhar, another Iranian team, lost to Al-Kuwait and finished fourth.
Altogether eight teams participated in the competitions into two groups of four teams.
