TEHRAN, June16 (MNA) -- The 12th Iran-Cuba Joint Economic Commission concluded in Havana Friday, with signing 13 documents, 16 memorandums of understanding and agreements.

 

Receiving Iran's Minister of Industries and Mines Alireza Tahmasbi, Cuban Acting President Raul Castro expressed his country’s readiness to boost economic, scientific, and industrial ties with Iran.

 

Tahmasbi for his part lauded the promising outcome of the commission, adding, “It paved the way for expansion of economic ties between the two countries.”

 

He also voiced his country’s willingness for implementation of various economic projects in Cuba.
