TEHRAN (Mehr News Agency) –- Iran’s Film Week is to open in Kuwait on October 18.

According to Iran’s Cultural attaché in Kuwait, the films will go on screen at Qablieh Educational Complex.

 

“Blackboard,” by Samira Makhmalbaf, “Taste of Cherry,” by Abbas Kiarostami, “Gabbeh,” by Mohsen Makhmalbaf, “Circle,” by Ja’far Panahi, and “Color of Heaven” by Majid Majidi will go on screen during the week.

 

Kuwait media praised active participation of Iranian cinema in international festivals and its high status in the world.

 

The film “Color of Heaven” was recently broadcast on Kuwait TV, and the TV announcer mentioned that Iranian films enjoy simplicity while they are attractive and pleasing and any viewer can easily understand them.
