Informed sources told Sputnik that the northeastern suburbs of Aleppo region in northern Syria were heavily attacked by Turkish fighters.
According to the reports, Turkey targeted the positions of the US-backed SDF elements.
The attacks took place after an extensive reconnaissance operation carried out by the Turkish drones in the region, the sources added.
