TEHRAN, Sep. 15 (MNA) – 43 tourists and three Egyptian workers were injured when their tour bus overturned on the Suez-Cairo Road on Saturday evening, local media reported.

The injured, include 11 Turkish nationals, 2 British citizens, 21 Russians, and 9 Italians, and three Egyptians, including tour company representatives and the driver’s assistant, were transferred to the Suez Medical Complex, Ahram Online reported.

The hospital declared a state of emergency and summoned all medical staff to treat all cases.

Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar was following up to ensure all injured were receiving optimal medical attention.
