Vyacheslav Viktorovich Volodin, Chairman of the State Duma, sent a congratulatory message to Ghalibaf on Tuesday to congratulate him on his re-election as the speaker of the Iranian parliament known as Majlis in Iran.
"Continuing constructive cooperation between the legislators of Russia and Iran will help to develop bilateral relations in line with the interests of the citizens of our countries," Volodin said after offering congrats to the Iranian speaker.
The lawmakers in Iran's parliament re-elected Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf as its speaker for a one-year period on Tuesday.
