TEHRAN, May 11 (MNA) – Iranian First Vice President Mohammad Mokhber inaugurated the smart center for information monitoring, data analysis, and construction projects of the Iran Red Crescent on Saturday.

Coinciding with Red Crescent Week, Mohammad Mokhber made remarks at the opening ceremony of the Red Crescent smart information monitoring and data analysis center on Saturday.

Appreciating the hard work of managers, employees, and volunteers of the Red Crescent Society for playing a positive role in the international arena and providing help in various countries such as Turkey, Syria, and Afghanistan, the Iranian Vice President underlined that the Red Crescent Society always shines in the world and has received the highest Red Cross award which is an honor for the country.

He described establishing a smart center for monitoring information and data mining in the Red Crescent as important and valuable work, pointing out that accurate and correct information about the dimensions of incidents and events can help the government and the Red Crescent in prioritizing the work and defining the missions.

During this ceremony, a total of 62 Red Crescent projects including 25 relief projects, 20 educational and research projects, 10 rehabilitation projects, 3 construction projects, 4 projects in centers abroad, and also 335 Red Crescent houses were put into operation.
