TEHRAN, May 01 (MNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian met with the Prime Minister of Burkina Faso and his accompanying delegation who traveled to Tehran to participate in the second Iran-Africa trade summit and Iran Expo 2024.

Iranian Foreign Minister met and discussed with the Prime Minister of Burkina Faso, Apollinaire Joachim Kyélem de Tambèl, and his accompanying delegation about the development and expansion of relations between the two countries in different fields.

Amir-Abdollahian expressed his satisfaction with the progress made in the process of relations between the two countries, including the determination of the relations roadmap, joint follow-up of the agreements of Iran and Burkina Faso in the commercial, industrial, scientific, and technological fields, tourism and other topics of interests. 

The Prime Minister of Burkina Faso for his part, expressed his satisfaction with the positive results of his trip and negotiations with the high-ranking officials of Iran, saying that this trip was due to his interest in knowing more about the rich civilization and culture and the progress of Iran.

Kyélem de Tambèl also said that his country is determined to pursue the development and strengthening of relations with Iran.

He also praised the progress of Iran in various fields of infrastructure, economic and trade, science and technology, and technical and engineering services while maintaining political independence.
