Iran's proposal had six suggestions that are as follows:
1- Establishing an immediate, full, unconditional and permanent ceasefire in all areas of Gaza, including Rafah and even the West Bank;
2- The complete removal of the blockade on Gaza;
3- Exchange of prisoners based on humanitarian grounds;
4- Compelling the regime to immediately, completely and unconditionally withdraw all military forces, their weapons and military equipment from Gaza and need for the secure return of the people to their regions and homes;
5- Imposing a full-scale and immediate arms embargo on the Israeli regime;
6- Supporting the implementation of the temporary ruling issued by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and laying the ground for prosecuting and punishing all the commanders, perpetrators and supporters of the Israeli regime's crimes for committing genocide, targeted killing of journalists, staff of humanitarian organizations, repeated use of non-conventional arms such as phosphorous bombs, and repeated threats from Israeli regime authorities to use nuclear bombs in Gaza.
UN Security Council held a debate on the Middle East and Palestinian question on Friday with the Iranian foreign minister in attendance.
