TEHRAN, Apr. 12 (MNA) – A media outlet close to the Taliban announced that two Tajik ISIL members were arrested on the shared Iran-Afghanistan border.

The security forces of the Taliban interim government in Afghanistan arrested two Tajik nationals as members of ISIL terrorist group in Afghanistan’s Nimruz province, the media added.

“Almersad” reported that the detained ISIL members had said that they were Tajik nationals and they had been invited to ISIL terrorist group when they were living in Russia.

According to the report, these two ISIL members also had said that they had been arrested by the Taliban when they sought to go to the Pakistani city of Quetta for military and religious training education.
