TEHRAN, Apr. 07 (MNA) – Kazakhstan has evacuated more than 63,000 people amid flooding.

Kazakhstan rescuers have evacuated more than 63,000 people amid flooding in some of the country’s areas, said Kaharman Orazalin, head of the disaster relief department at the Kazakh Emergency Situations Ministry.

Almost 3,400 homes have been flooded, he said at a news conference, TASS reported.

Ten regions have declared an emergency over the floods.
